Business Connection & Support

Managing business referrals and support between members.

Overview

The deal system in Vyapari Network operates under two perspectives for the same transaction:

  • Business Connection: When Member A shares a client lead with Member B. From Member A's perspective, this is a "connection" they gave.
  • Business Support: The same lead, viewed from Member B's perspective — it's "support" they received from Member A.

Business Connection (Sharing a Lead)

How it works

  1. Member A searches for Member B using the quick search (FAB button on Home or Deals page)
  2. Fills in client details: Client Name, 10-digit Mobile, optional Email and Notes
  3. No amount or document is required at this stage
  4. Deal is created with status pending
  5. Member B receives an email and push notification

Viewing Connections

Member A can view all shared connections on the Business Connection page with three tabs:

  • All — Every connection shared
  • Pending — Awaiting confirmation from the receiver
  • Completed — Confirmed and closed

Business Support (Confirming a Lead)

Confirming a received connection

  1. Member B opens the Business Support page → Pending tab
  2. Taps a pending connection → views client details
  3. Two options:
    • Confirm: Enters the deal amount, optionally uploads a supporting document → deal becomes completed
    • Not Worked: Marks the connection as not worked → deal becomes not-worked

Creating fresh support

Member B can also record support directly without a prior connection:

  1. Opens Business Support page → taps FAB (+) → searches for Member A
  2. Fills in: Client Name, 10-digit Mobile, Amount (required), optional Email, Notes, Document
  3. Deal is created with status completed immediately

Deal Statistics

Each member's profile tracks:

  • Deals Given Amount: Total value of completed connections shared by the member
  • Deals Received Amount: Total value of completed support received by the member

These statistics are recalculated automatically when deals are completed.

Validation

  • Client contact is optional. If provided, must be a valid 10-digit mobile number
  • Amount is required only for Business Support (not for connections)
  • Supporting document is optional (PDF, JPG, PNG, DOC accepted, max 10MB)

Admin Deals Page

The Superuser and Franchise deals pages (/superuser/deals, /franchise/deals) provide:

  • Filters: City, Team, Member, Status, Date Range (From/To)
  • Date column showing when each deal was created
  • CSV Export — downloads all deals matching current filters with columns: Date, Client Name, Contact, From Member, To Member, Amount, Status
